Frequently Asked Questions

  • I've never been to a Gay Sauna before. What should I expect?
Visiting a gay sauna for the first time can be a daunting experience. Rest assured, we're here to make sure you get settled in as quickly as possible. When you arrive, one of our friendly team members will assign you a locker and give you a towel. They'll also give you a run down on how the venue works and where you'll find everything. Feel free to ask as many questions as you need. We're here to help!
  • I'm worried I might not fit in. Will I look like everyone else?
Here at Pink Broadway we're lucky enough to have a hugely diverse clientele. There's no discrimination here. We welcome all shapes, sizes, ethnicities and walks of life. There's someone for everyone!
  • Do you have special nights for bears etc?
We don't currently offer any specific nights for specific kinks or tribes. We like the idea that everyone can mix and find their matches at any time. Though we always welcome suggestions of anything you might like to see in the future.
  • I like to dress up. Can I wear more than just my towel?
Most of our customers choose to just wear their towel. Some prefer to be totally naked (though we do ask that customers wear their towels in the lounge area), You're more than welcome to wear items of your own clothing during your visit, however we do ask that you refrain from wearing clothing in the Jacuzzi as this can compromise the quality of the water. We also ask that you don't wear high heels or any other item that could cause damage to the floors or any other part of the venue. We want you to feel comfortable and express yourself how you wish.
  • What's the best time for a newbie to come?
It really depends what sort of experience you'd like to have. If you want to ease yourself into it, get comfortable and explore the venue at your own pace; then maybe a weekday or a weekday evening would suit you best. If you want to dive right in then our busiest time is usually Sunday afternoon.
  • Do you do weekend/week passes?
We don't, I'm afraid. £20 entry covers you for the whole day. If you arrive in the last 2 hours then it's only £10!
  • Are trans people welcome?
Here at Pink Broadway we understand that gender and gender identity is a complicated and varied set of experiences. We welcome the trans community with an aim of inclusivity and education, for both us and our wider community. Depending on where you're at in your journey, we may wish to chat with you before admitting entry, just to make sure you're going to feel comfortable in our venue during your visit. If you'd like to discuss this further or have any specific concerns please feel free to drop us an email.
  • Do I need membership to visit?
We don't do membership. It's just pay as you go with no commitment or sign up necessary.
  • Do you do any discounts or concession rates?
We offer £10 entry for students or those on Universal Credit. We do require up to date proof of Universal Credit and a valid NUS card for students.
  • Will the staff play with me?
Our staff are employed to make sure our venue is run to the highest standards. They're not allowed to play with customers, however you are welcome to have fun with any customers who you might have a mutual attraction to.
  • Where is the best place to park?
There is on street parking all around Southampton if you're only planning to stay a few hours. If you're making a day of it, we recommend using Eastgate Multistory. It's just a few roads away and you can stay all day!
  • Can I leave and come back on the same day?
Yes. Your entrance fee covers the whole day. If you want to leave and come back, that's absolutely fine! Just leave your key at reception and let us know you plan on returning later. Please note the front door is locked 45 minutes before closing.
  • When's the busiest time to visit?
We do our best to guess what times will be busiest, but the truth is... you just never know. Best thing to do is just come on down and see for yourself. But Friday-Sunday are a pretty safe bet, with Sunday afternoon generally being our busiest time.
